Our favorite French Quarter restaurant! The food is always great and so are the margaritas! Live music and overall a great family atmosphere! The Sampler and the appetizer sampler are some of our faves! Also love their muffulettas and the chicken wings!
The ice cream daiquris are very good. I tried the grasshopper and I was quite pleased. If you need a nice, cold, delicious drink to walk around with then this is a great option.

Another excellent lunch. Fast and friendly service. Great food. Very fun atmosphere. Sad to not see Edwige working here after sitting in his section many times over 5 years of visits.
2021 visit:
We love coming here every time we’re in New Orleans! We always sit in Edwige’s section. The food is great. The drinks are great. The live music and atmosphere are great. Everyone from our kids to our parents enjoy coming here.
Just sit and the server will be with you. I had the jambalaya shown in the picture and it was the best I'd ever had. It had a small amount of spice that kept me locked in and I finished the bowl too soon. LIVE MUSIC with occasional requests. It is a beautiful spot!
Excellent food and drink.ask for the ice-cream cocktails,, they were surprisingly excellent, besides, the food and music is great
The Food, the Atmosphere and the Service was absolutely AMAZING! Loved the live band. Parking is a pain but to be expected in the French Quarter. Spent several hours here (lunch time), left, and then came back for for dinner and drinks. Our server was "Johnny on the spot", although the place was packed. A GREAT time and worth every penny.
This food stop located in the French Quarter is always a plus for atmospher and scenery!! The smells, the music, and the hustle and bistle are always great to watch! I odered the gumbo fries and what it lacked in flavor was made up in the overall atmosphere. The only thing I did not like was my server (an older Causasin guy) It took awhile for him to get to us and that was understandable. We had to ask several other servers to assit our table. The issue was, it was 3 of us and when we asked foe separate checks, he informed us the computer was down and he could not do it. This shoud have been said so from the start. We tipped him $10 on a $94 check because that was all the cash we had. To help speed up our process , I gave him our cheque book and waited by the window for him to swipe my card. While waiting, he looked at the ones and stated, " You know we normally make 18 to 20 percent, I see it's ony like 7 dollars in here. I stood there and replied, " ok" because unbeknowst to him, myself and the other parties at my table are servers and we KNOW how to tip. We were planning on tipping more after we got the receipt. So he gives me the receipt and says, ' you can add the extra money on the tip line becuase like I said, we normally get tipped more than that". I didn't even dignify him with a response this time. I just scrawled my signature, put 3 zeros on the tip line and left. He talked himself out of his {extra / the rest of } his tip. We will dine again, just NOT with him.
We had the Ice Cream Peach Daiquiri and Nutty Irishmen cocktails. Both were delicious! The perfect spot to take a break from shopping and listen to live jazz music while watching the world go by. We didn't eat this time, but the muffoletta looked incredible and we are heading back soon to try the New Orleans sampler.
